Day 1   Kuala Lumpur - Irkutsk (D)

Meet and greet at Irkutsk International Airport to be transfer to our hotel and overnight

Day 2   Irkutsk (B,L,D)

In the early nineteenth century, many Russian artists, officers and nobles were sent into exile to Siberia for their part in the Decembrist revolt against Tsar Nicholas I. Irkutsk became the major center of intellectual and social life for these exiles, and much of the city's cultural heritage comes from them. Today, Irkutsk is one of the biggest cities in Siberia, with a growing population of more than 590,000 people.

We will visit  the Ice Breaker Angara Museum, Churches, Volkonsky & Truetskoy Museum, Babr, 130 Kvartal, Fine Art Museum.

Day 3

Day 3   Irkutsk - Listvyanka (70km, 1hr) (B,L,D)

After a good breakfast we set out to visit, to the beautiful south coast of Baikal Lake. Your first stop will be open-air museum Taltsy. Take the opportunity to see and embrace the life of old Siberia. We will have lunch at the famous fish and souvenir market and try out the delicious Omul fish. After a hearty lunch we will go for the 4 Km experience dog-sledding ride. Enjoy a breath-taking panoramic view from the “Chersky stone” viewpoint by taking the cable car ride to the top and back. From here you can view Lake Baikal from the top. The Shaman Stone and gorgeous view of snow-capped mountain

Day 4

Day 4   Listvyanka Hovercraft Ride to Khuzhir (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we set our journey to Khuzhir by using the hovercraft. This ensure we could be able to enjoy more of the beautiful scenery of this baikal lake. On our way we will make several stops in the most interesting and beautiful places (Peschanaya Bay, Bolshoe Goloustnoye, “Sagan-Zaba” Cape, “Scriper” Mountain). We will see a lot of ice, mountains, cracks, ancient drawings on mountains and sandy beaches.

Day 5  North Olkhon Island (B,L,D)

Today, we will use the 4WD Russian Army vintage vans. One will be greeted by most beautiful sight of this island. We will visit Peschanka-sandy village in Russian and once house a Gulag camp is famous for its picturesque sand dunes, Sagan-Khushun Cape and travel the Northern part of the island; Cape Khoboy. It is about 80 Km, on a round trip. We will have a lunch picnic on the nice.

Day 6  South Olkhon Island (B,L,D)

After a good breakfast, we will depart to to visit the Panoramic view point, Yalga Cape, the stone garden, Nury Bay, Tresubets rock and if the weather permit we can go as challenging site as the Khorgoi Cape and Ogoi Island. You may also rent skates and enjoy natural ice skating during the day on one of the stops.

Day 7  Olkhon Island Off Road Adventure Via Tasheran Steppe (B,L,D)

We depart for the off road adventure through the Tazheran. It is steppe landscape which gives view of Mongolian scenery. The entire journey landscape has been here for more than 300-400 million years. While driving through the Tazheran steppe we will see amazing panoramic views of Baikal Lake, remains of Rocks, beautiful bays and high cliffs. We will make several stops at the most beautiful places and will have a chance to climb up to the highest point of Tazheran Steppe to see great view from the top.

Day 8  Irkutsk

Transfer to airport for flight back to Malaysia.
